THANK YOU
from
the Community Outreach Committee and the Leo Club!
The Community Outreach Committee and Leo Club would like to express our appreciation to the students, families, and faculty of FQMS for supporting our Giving Tree Program. We adopted 2 families from Howard County and provided them with gifts, such as grocery and department store gift cards, clothing, winter coats, and toys. We collected countless toys that were given to the Island of Hope's Homeless Children's Christmas Party in Baltimore. We also collected over $500 in gift cards which were distributed to local Howard County families. The students had a wonderful time wrapping the gifts at the Wrapping/Pizza Party held in December. Upcoming projects will be our annual Book Drive and Indoor Yard Sale. Stay tuned for more info.

PTA PARENT FORUM & SCHOOL DANCE CANCELLATION
We are disappointed to share with you that, due to low reservations,
the dance and associated Parent's Forum will both be cancelled Friday, January 27.
Refunds will be issued during student lunches.

Fundraising and/or Parent's Forum committees

The fundraising committee will meet at least once before the end of this school year to plan for next fall's effort. Artistic talent (signage, display work) and communications skills (parent updates via e-news) most helpful.
