Parents you don't want to miss this opportunity to learn from Beth Schmidt who lost her son to a drug overdose. Beth is co-founder of Maryland Heroin Awareness Advocacy (MHAA). MHAA is a statewide organization dedicated to combat the heroin epidemic by raising awareness and provide education on prevention efforts. MHAA helps family members navigate the difficult path of dealing with loved ones battling addiction and the road to recovery. Click for Intramural Program Information & Forms The first intramural programs we'll be offering are Homework Club, Art Club and something new called “How to say it best”. "How to say it best" is by Cathleen Hanson of International School of Protocol. This program which focuses on how to speak and communicate effectively will not only boost your self-confidence, but enhance your reputation and open up countless opportunities. This 4 week course will teach you valuable skills for how to prepare for real life experiences that require public speaking, as well as presentation skills to help you succeed in other classes. NOTE- Deadline to register for this program is 2/24/17.
